All packages include pickup at any convenient location, pre trip inspections, explaining concepts in the car, and 5 minute de-brief.
Lesson Details

GLP- Under ICBC’S graduated licensing rules, students must complete and pass all components of the course in their Learners stage and within 365 days of beginning the program. (All class sessions and on road lessons) There are no exceptions to this; if a student goes for the Novice Road Test before completing the program, the student will then forfeit the chance at the reduction for the Novice stage as well as the 2 high school credits. You must stay 100% violation free to be eligible to test for Class 5 in your 18th month. (No tickets or at fault crashes)

A lesson is generally 1-1.5hrs in length, although it may be changed to 2hrs in length based on the students' level of mastery and the need to get lesson time in before a road test.

We offer the option of the parent sitting in on the first couple of lessons so they can re-enforce during practice time with their teen the very important foundation skills taught in those lessons.

Each 60minute lesson includes the 5-minute pre-trip inspection, 45 minutes which includes drive time and any in-car discussion/instruction, and a 10-minute debrief at end with student and/or parents.

Lessons are taught in a one-to-one basis, with the exception of an observer for training or compliance purposes, in which case, approval of student will be obtained.

Personal information is protected within our office and database and will only be shared with ICBC and/or Driver Services for road tests, booking or compliance purposes.

Student must sign a consent and release form by/for ICBC in order to authorize us to act on their behalf to book their road test.

A road test booking is 2.5hrs in length which includes a 1hr15min warm-up, 15min check-in and the use of our car for the road test.

Pick up and drop off for lessons and road tests can be at home, school, work or any other convenient location to make best use of lesson time.
Payment & Cancelation Policies

Fees for lessons are a flat rate of $92/hr (plus GST). We do have packages that may have reduced rates.

Changes or cancellations must be made 48 hrs in advance. Failure to do so will result in a $35 charge made to students’ account. Please contact office if you are running late. The instructor will only wait 15min, then N/S fee applies.

ICBC road test and license fees are not included in the lesson and package prices and are payable by student/driver at time of road test.

ICBC road tests are booked by students or parents. ICBC road tests must be cancelled more than 48hrs in advance of the date and time of the road test – if you do not cancel within that time, ICBC will charge a $25 cancellation fee in addition to regular road test fees.

Lessons must be pre-paid by Etransfer or CC before first lesson OR CASH, exact change, at time of pickup. Sorry, we DO NOT accept cheques.

Student must provide a valid BC Class 5/7 (N/L) drivers license to each lesson. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the lesson by the instructor and a $35 cancellation fee applied to student’s account that must be paid to rebook the lesson.

Refunds may be considered on un-used lesson time with approval of the owner/office manager. Refunds are calculated to the next lower package price on lessons used. A $45 administration fee will be charged against any refund.
